Component Protection

PEENFLEX damage and abrasion resistant mouldings are a simple but cost effective solution to the protection of component parts through the various stages of processing, lifting, moving, storage and despatch.

All mouldings are rigorously tested to ensure a high quality of wear resistance enabling them to be recycled many times through the handling stages. 

MIC has a standard range of mouldings but are also able to produce customised mouldings to meet customer’s specifications. 

Applications

• Wear resistant inserts inside hard tooling, reducing the cost of tooling replacement
• Coatings to lifting equipment to prevent common damage
• Close protection of sensitive inspection equipment, tooling and gauges or expensive cutting tools or masters
• Repairs to existing mouldings
• Replacements for existing expensive components made from similar materials i.e. rubber, nylon, abrasion resistant)
• Bonding to wheels, rollers and plates
• Replacements for existing high wear components made from low wear resistant metallic materials such as steel, brass, copper and bronze
