Enhancing the performance of metals and materials
Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies ("CWST") is being introduced as the new group name for the collective technical services provided by Metal Improvement Company ("MIC") and its affiliates. Although we will be updating our websites and literature to reflect this new group name, the legacy names of Metal Improvement Company, E/M Coating Services, Parylene Coating Services, etc. will continue to be used at the local facility level. Thus, there will be no changes to the way that the individual facilities transact business with their customers and vendors. Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies is a leading provider of outsourced high technology services (‘Special Processes”) on critical components from aerospace, automotive, power generation, chemical processing and specialty industrial markets. |
Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies provides quality controlled and cost effective surface treatments that enhance performance and provide protection from premature metal and material failures, enabling critical components to achieve their maximum potential. Through our network of over 70 dedicated international facilities and on-site work, we are able to bring our experience and technical expertise wherever and whenever you need. ApprovalsMIC division approvals where appropriate, include FAA, AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 13485, ISO 9001:2008 plus other specific OEM, company and industry approvals as required. MIC provide controlled shot peening in accordance with SAE AMS2430 and SAE AMS2431 specifications which define the requirements for consistent quality controlled shot peen processing and should be invoked in all controlled shot peening applications. |
