We have recently acquired 3 Thermal Spray Coating Divisions in the US, previously known as BASF Surface Technologies . The facilities have a rich history in the development of advanced thermal spray coatings for flight and industrial gas turbines, and trace their origin back to the original General Plasma, Inc. facility in East Windsor, CT, which was acquired by the Engelhard Corporation in 1994.
